Garduce set to fulfill nation’s dream

A systems analyst for a multi-national company, who is also known in the international mountaineering community as “Garduch,” the Filipino quietly left the country last March 4 to begin what is easily the climb of his life.

Garduch said his Everest climb is not for personal glory but to show that it is about time a Filipino joins other success stories in the historical annals of Everest.

She is a seriously great artist! I fell in love with her acting in Remains of the Day and Sense and Sensibility.

My year’s going to look like this:

I’m going to spend 6 months at home writing my thesis, a couple of days gathering data in Muslim Mindanao, and couple of days defending it in Manila.

When I graduate in March 2007, I’m flying to Batanes and jump up and down at the tip of the archipelago, shouting my lungs out.
